Latvia completes fence along Russian border

Latvia has completed the construction of a 280-kilometer fence along its border with Russia.

Axar.az informs the final sections of the 280-kilometer fence on the Latvia–Russia border were completed in December.

The total budget amounted to €166 million, and six contractors were involved in the construction.

Latvia also completed the construction of a nearly 145-kilometer fence along its border with Belarus in the summer of 2024.
