Nepal flood death toll rises to 1,344

The death toll from last week’s devastating floods in Nepal has risen to 1,344, while 4,898 people remain missing.

Axar.az reports that Nepal’s National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) provided the latest figures.

Search and rescue operations are continuing in the affected areas. Bodies have been recovered from eight different areas swept away by the floodwaters.
