"I think that the events taking place between France and New Caledonia are a historical precedent. It seems to me that this is not the end of that story, but its beginning," President Ilham Aliyev said during a meeting with participants of the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum, APA reports.
“Our position on neocolonialism is absolutely clear. This means that this is not an issue tied to any bilateral agenda,” the head of state said, emphasizing that as the chair of the Non-Aligned Movement, we were promoting decolonization from the very first year of our chairmanship, and we were the voice for the independence of colonized territories, for their access to justice, and for the adoption of independent decisions by international organizations.
