US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping have agreed to exchange visits next year, following what trump called a "very productive" phone call.
According to Trump's Truth Social post, the US president will visit China in early 2026, while Xi will come to the United States at a mutually appropriate time, Caliber.Az reports.
During the call, the leaders discussed a range of key issues, including trade, efforts to address the fentanyl crisis, the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, and the approval of a deal involving TikTok.
Trump described the conversation as “very good” and said the two leaders plan to speak again by phone ahead of their in-person meetings, including at the upcoming APEC Summit in South Korea.
