Today, the VIII Eurasian Forum of Accountants and Auditors is being held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.

Azerbaijan's Deputy Finance Minister Azer Bayramov, Minister of Finance of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Hasan Ismayilov, Vice President of International Union of Economists Ziyad Samadzade, President International Federation of Accountants Asma Rezmuki are planned to deliver speech at the forum.

Among the topics of the forum are the preparation of SOCAR's sustainable development reports in recent years and new requirements related to sustainable development in financial statements; the role of tax policy in the green economy; how government auditors are responding to the climate crisis and energy transition; Azerbaijan-2030: legal regulation of sustainable finance and ESG agenda are included.

A memorandum will be signed within the framework of the forum.
