Oil prices jump in global markets

On the London Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the price of Brent crude increased by $0.86 to reach $61.09 per barrel. Meanwhile, Light crude on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) rose by $0.81, settling at $57.94 per barrel.
