France has sent its first Mirage 2000 fighter jets to Kyiv.
Axar.az reports that French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu announced this on the X platform.
"Some of the fighter jets arrived in Kyiv today. With Ukrainian pilots who have been trained for several months in France, these jets will now take part in defending Ukraine’s skies," he wrote.
It is worth noting that on June 6, 2024, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that Mirage 2000 fighter jets would be delivered to Ukraine.
