There has been a change in the leadership of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), APA-Economics reports citing CBA.
The Director General of the Central Bank, Ziya Aliyev, has been appointed as the Chairman's Advisor.
Thus, the number of advisors to the Chairman of the CBA has reached 5.
Vusal Javanshir Gurbanov has also been appointed as the Director General of the CBA from February 3. Prior to this, he worked as the Director of the Department for Supervision of Insurance Activities of the Central Bank.
