US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has arrived in Yerevan, accompanied by his spouse, marking the start of an official visit to Armenia.
According to Armenian media reports cited by Caliber.Az, Rubio was received at Zvartnots International Airport by Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs had earlier announced that, following their talks, Rubio and Mirzoyan are expected to make statements to the press and sign a number of bilateral documents.
All scheduled events, including the meeting, press statements, and document signing, are set to take place at Zvartnots International Airport.
