Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have discussed the current state of strategic partnership and prospects for further strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Uzbekistan Rashad Mammadov shared details of the discussions on X following a meeting with Uzbek Deputy Foreign Minister Bobur Usmanov, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The officials exchanged views on the development of strategic partnership relations between the two countries and explored opportunities to further expand bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
“During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects for developing strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. The parties discussed further expanding bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as well as continuing effective contacts on issues of mutual interest,” the statement said.
The sides also reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining regular and effective dialogue on matters of mutual interest.
