Territorial disputes and mutual claims between Baku and Yerevan must be resolved exclusively by political and diplomatic methods within a bilateral commission on the delimitation of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a briefing, Report informs.
“We are ready, for our part, to provide all possible assistance to this. We believe that the time has long come to restore the rhythmic work of the trilateral mechanisms of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia. We call on our partners to show political will, to resume contacts that have proven their effectiveness in formats in which, with the assistance of Russia, there was effective search for solutions to the most difficult issues, including border delimitation, unblocking transport and logistics routes in the region, and the development of a peace treaty,” Zakharova noted.
