The United States will no longer act as a mediator between Russia and Ukraine, US State Department Spokesperson Tammy Bruce said at a briefing for journalists, APA reports.
"We will not be a mediator. We are not going to fly to the other side of the world at lightning speed to conduct meetings," Bruce emphasized.
He added that at this stage, the negotiation process should be conducted directly between the parties - Russia and Ukraine.
