The European Junior and U23 Championships is being held in Poland.
Azerbaijani athlete Ravin Mammadov (81 kg) secured medals during the competition, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Mammadov achieved a total lift of 338 kg (151 kg in the snatch and 187 kg in the clean and jerk), earning him a second-place finish.
He also claimed a small gold medal in the snatch and a silver medal in the clean and jerk.
The European Junior and U23 Championships is being held in Raszyn, Poland from October 26 to November 3, 2024.
