The Strategic Political and Defence Committee established under the Makkah Agreement for Joint Defence will meet in Riyadh on October 5, Turkiye’s Foreign Ministry said.
Axar.az reports, citing the Ministry, that the meeting will be attended by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, National Defence Minister Yashar Guler and Chief of the General Staff Gen. Selcuk Bayraktaroglu, along with officials from Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The committee will discuss recent regional developments and progress in institutionalising the alliance established under the Makkah Agreement.
