Turkiye has reduced oil imports from Russian ports and is expected to cut them further in August after Ukrainian attacks disrupted exports from Russia’s Black Sea terminals.
Axar.az reports, citing Reuters, that Turkiye received about 900,000 tonnes of oil from Russian ports in July, down from 1.2 million tonnes in June.
Supplies from Black Sea ports fell by half to just over 300,000 tonnes.
In August, Turkiye is expected to receive only about 200,000 tonnes of oil from Russia’s Black Sea ports, with no CPC Blend or Urals shipments currently planned.
Turkiye is diversifying its supplies, including through rare oil imports from Brazil and Guyana, traders said.
