Azerbaijan and Russia have held discussions on enhancing bilateral cooperation in the field of real estate registration and cadastre, signaling potential growth in technical and institutional collaboration between the two countries.
The meeting took place between Metin Eynullayev, Head of Azerbaijan’s State Service on Property Issues, and a delegation from Russia’s Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre, and Cartography (Rosreestr), led by Director Oleg Skufinsky, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
During the meeting, both parties expressed satisfaction with the current level of engagement and emphasized the importance of continuing to share best practices. The exchange of experience focused on several key areas, including real estate registration processes, cadastre systems, mass property valuation, and the management of spatial data.
Participants also addressed strategies for improving the effective use of registry and cadastral data, as well as discussed the development of national spatial data infrastructure. These initiatives are seen as crucial for modernizing public services, enhancing property market transparency, and supporting sustainable urban planning.
