Ramadan is celebrated in Azerbaijan.
Axar.az reports that this year, the first day of Ramadan coincided with March 1 according to the Gregorian calendar. According to the Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Ramadan falls on March 30 this year.
Giving zakat al-fitr of 10-15 manats per person is recommended.
