US forces intercepted and shot down two Iranian attack drones after they were allegedly launched toward commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz, according to a senior US defence official.
“It appears Iran has attempted to strike commercial ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz tonight. U.S. forces shot down two Iranian one-way attack drones,” the official told Fox News Chief National Security Correspondent Jennifer Griffin, Caliber.Az reports.
