President Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order on granting high military ranks to service members of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
According to the Order, the following service members of the Ministry of Defense have been granted high military ranks:
The rank of "Colonel General":
- Lieutenant General Hikmat Mirzayev Izzat
The rank of "Major General":
- Colonel Alakbar Janghirov Mahammad
- Colonel Gunduz Abdulov Alish
- Colonel Azar Gasimov Alovsat
The rank of "Major General of Justice":
- Colonel of Justice Elchin Aliyev Nariman.
