A new university in the agrarian field will be established in Azerbaijan jointly with foreign universities.
Axar.az reports that the issue is reflected in the “State Program for 2026–2030 on the development of production and processing sectors of agricultural, fisheries, and aquaculture products in the Republic of Azerbaijan".
According to the document, the Ministry of Agriculture, together with the Ministry of Science and Education, must ensure during 2026–2030 the expansion of specialties covered by dual diploma programs, the increase in the number of partner countries and students, the exploration of opportunities for establishing a joint university with selected foreign universities, the increase in the number of students enrolled in dual diploma programs, the implementation of dual diploma programs with at least two prestigious universities, increasing the total number of graduates from agrarian dual diploma programs to 500, and the establishment of a joint university within the framework of cooperation with one foreign university.
