Turkish Airlines and EgyptAir have temporarily suspended flights to Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu, citing security reasons.
Axar.az reports the information comes from a source within Somalia’s intelligence services.
On the morning of April 6, Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu came under mortar fire. Reports say two mortar shells exploded on the runway, forcing the airport to halt operations.
