During her visit to Russia, Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (parliament), Sahiba Gafarova, met with the Chairperson of the Senate of Uzbekistan’s Oliy Majlis, Tanzila Narbaeva.
The meeting, as reported by the Milli Majlis’ Public Relations and Media Department, focused on the implementation of the activities outlined in the roadmap for enhancing parliamentary cooperation between the two countries for the 2024–2025 period, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Both parties emphasised the significance of regular communication between the parliaments of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, acknowledging the pivotal role of the heads of state in strengthening bilateral relations.
Additional topics of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.
