We note Russia's declaration of a temporary Easter ceasefire.
Axar.az reports that Stephane Dujarric, the official representative of the UN Secretary-General, said these words.
"We have consistently called for a lasting ceasefire in Ukraine and reaffirm our support for efforts to establish a just, lasting and comprehensive peace that fully respects sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, following relevant UN laws and the UN Charter," Dujarric stated.
It should be noted that Russia announced the cessation of all military operations in Ukraine in connection with the Easter holiday from 18:00 today to 00:00 on April 21.
