Rain, wind, and snow hit Azerbaijan

According to the information as of 10:00 on April 13, windy and rainy weather conditions continued in the country.

Axar.az informs that this was by the National Hydrometeorological Service.

It was noted that the amount of precipitation was 6 mm in Shahbuz, 2 mm in Zagatala, Gakh (Sarybash), and 1 mm in Nakhchivan, Sadarak, Goygol, Ganja, Naftalan, Shamkir, Tovuz, Sheki, Gobustan, Guba, Gusar, Tartar, Barda, Shamkir, Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Goychay, Kurdamir, Bilasuvar and Aghdam.

Occasional snowfall occurred in mountainous areas - Shahdag, Gadabay, and Dashkasan.

In some places, the westerly wind blew, the wind speed occasionally increased to 20 m/s in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, 18 m/s in Naftalan and Altyağaj, and 16m/s in Shabran. Fog was observed in Dashkesan, Goygol, Naftalan, Gakh (Sarybash), Sheki, Zagatala, Gobustan, Lerik, and Gryz. Visibility was limited to 500 m.

The minimum air temperature was recorded in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in the Aran regions, up to 9 degrees Celsius, in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, up to 8 degrees Celsius, and in the mountainous regions, up to 3 degrees Celsius.
