There is no logic in maintaining the OSCE Minsk Group.
Axar.az reports that Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said this at a joint press conference with OSCE Secretary General Firidun Sinirlioglu.
He brought Azerbaijan's demand to the attention of the other side to the abolition of the Minsk Group and its related institutions:
"The OSCE Minsk Group was established precisely for the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, and our territory has already been liberated from occupation. Therefore, there is no logic in maintaining the Minsk Group. If Armenia is truly interested in a complete resolution of the issue, it should not insist on continuing the activities of the Minsk Group and its related structures."
J. Bayramov also said that although the normalization process is currently underway, the arming and armament of Armenia is a cause for concern.
At the same time, the minister informed the OSCE Secretary General about the need to amend the Armenian constitution.
