The Azerbaijani Qızıl Qaya team has taken first place in the Tourism category at TECHNOFEST-2025, one of the region’s largest festivals dedicated to technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship, held this year in Northern Cyprus.
The team’s innovative project stood out among hundreds of entries, earning them the top prize, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
In a moment of high recognition, the award was presented by President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who personally congratulated the team during the official ceremony. TECHNOFEST, now in its 11th year, celebrates achievements across various tech-related fields, including aviation, space, robotics, smart cities, biotechnology, and more.
The 2025 edition is being held in Northern Cyprus and runs through May 4.
The festival is organised with the support of the presidential administration of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology, and the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation).
