An Azerbaijani businessman who was previously abducted in Odesa has been released by unidentified individuals on May 1.
Vugar Farhad oglu Osmanov, a representative of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Ukraine, was freed by unidentified individuals, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The circumstances surrounding his abduction and subsequent release remain unclear, and it is still unknown who was behind either event.
To recall, on April 30, Azerbaijani businessman and prominent community figure Vugar Osmanov was abducted in Odesa.
Osmanov, 53, was reportedly seized by unidentified individuals outside a restaurant on April 16. Surveillance footage showed the assailants forcing him into a vehicle before driving off to an unknown location.
