Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said the negotiations with U.S. delegations in Rome were held in a "constructive" atmosphere and are making progress.
Axar.az reportss, citing Iran's IRIB news agency, Mr. Seyed Abbas Araghchi, speaking after the second round of indirect Iran-U.S. talks said: “Today’s talks lasted about four hours, and as in the previous round, the discussions were positive.”
He described the negotiation process as progressing and added: “This time, we succeeded in reaching an agreement on certain principles and objectives, and it was ultimately decided that the negotiations will continue.”
Araghchi noted: “In the next stage of negotiations, expert-level sessions will begin. Technical negotiations at the expert level will start this Wednesday in Oman. These meetings will give experts more time to delve into the details and draft a framework for the agreement.”
Mr. Araghchi also added: “In the third round of talks in Oman, we will review the outcomes of the expert discussions to evaluate how close we are to reaching an agreement.”
