Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has arrived in the People’s Republic of China for a high-level state visit, signalling a new chapter in bilateral ties between Baku and Beijing.
The president's arrival was officially announced on the Azerbaijani presidential website, per Caliber.Az.
Upon landing at Beijing International Airport, President Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva were greeted with full honours. A ceremonial guard of honour stood at attention, underscoring the significance of the visit. The presidential couple was warmly welcomed by China’s Minister of Transport, Liu Wei, alongside other senior Chinese officials.
