Azerbaijan is showcasing its diverse tourism offerings at the Kazakhstan International Tourism Fair (KITF-2025), currently underway in Almaty from April 23 to 25.
According to the State Tourism Agency, KITF-2025 stands as one of Central Asia’s premier tourism events, drawing attention from industry leaders and travellers alike, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Representing Azerbaijan at the event are not only the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau but also 11 prominent local partners, including Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) and the Shahdag Tourism Centre. These organisations are putting a spotlight on the rich tourism potential of regions such as Karabakh and East Zangezur.
In addition to promoting Azerbaijan’s top destinations, the country is also running a campaign in line with the "Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty" to further emphasise its cultural and historical significance.
During the fair, Kenan Guluzada, Advisor to the Chairman of the State Tourism Agency, held an important meeting with Kazakhstan's Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports, Yerzhan Erkinbayev, where the two discussed potential collaborations and deepening bilateral ties.
Azerbaijan’s national pavilion also welcomed Agalar Atamoglanov, the country’s Ambassador to Kazakhstan, who toured the stand and engaged with partners to reinforce the growing tourism cooperation between the two nations.
