The Chargé d'Affaires of Azerbaijan in Syria, Elnur Shahhuseynov, has discussed the situation in Syria with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic, Vitezslav Pivonka.
According to the Azerbaijani diplomatic mission in Damascus, the conversation centred on the current processes shaping Syria's future, Caliber.Az reports.

"It was an interesting meeting during which we exchanged views on developments in the updated Syria. I express my gratitude to the Czech Ambassador in Damascus, Vitezslav Pivonka," the embassy said.
The Czech Ambassador, who previously served as his country’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan between 2014 and 2018, has extensive experience in the region. After his tenure in Baku, Pivonka headed the Czech diplomatic mission in Russia from 2018 to 2024.
